Senior Outings in Madison, WI

Caring Companion provides senior outings to seniors in Madison, Wisconsin — accompanied trips out of the house — lunch, events, appointments with a friend along, and time outdoors. In Madison that often means getting out to the Dane County Farmers' Market, an Arboretum walk or a Madison Senior Center event. We are a family-run, non-medical eldercare service based in Sun Prairie, and the same caregiver comes back every visit.

What senior outings includes

Staying home should not mean staying inside. Outings are planned around what your loved one actually enjoys, at a pace that works, with someone along the whole time to handle the driving, the doors and the walking.

That might be lunch somewhere familiar, a haircut, a church service, a community program, a garden center in spring or just a scenic drive when energy is low. Short trips count.

Getting out regularly does more for mood and appetite than almost anything else we do. It is also often the part of the week families hear the most about afterward.

Typical help in Madison
